The Abilities Medicaid Waiver Program provides respite and personal care to qualified individuals through skill development, companionship, family support, extending therapies, and recreational experiences.

Independent Care Waiver Program (ICWP)
ICWP offers services to a limited number of adult members with physical disabilities, including persons with traumatic brain injuries (TBI). This program is available for eligible Medicaid members who are severely physically disabled and between the ages of 21 and 64 when they apply. ICWP services include personal support, home health, emergency response services, specialized medical equipment and supplies, counseling and home modifications.
The Community Care Services Program (CCSP)
The CCSP waiver provides home- and community-based services to elderly and/or functionally impaired or disabled members. The program includes case management, adult day health care, alternative living services, personal care, home-delivered meals and services, extended home health, respite care and emergency response services.
New Options Waiver (NOW)
The New Options Waiver (NOW) – formerly Mental Retardation Waiver Program (MRWP) – is a home and community-based waiver for persons who have been diagnosed with a developmental disability. Services for the Mental Retardation Waiver Program (MRWP) began April 1, 1989. The New Options Waiver (NOW) and the Comprehensive Supports Waiver Program (COMP) offer home- and community-based services for people with a developmental or intellectual disability. A diagnosis of developmental disability includes mental retardation or other closely-related conditions such as cerebral palsy, epilepsy, autism or neurological problems.
