Abilities Discovered, Inc.’s Community Living Services (CLS) provide life assistance and opportunities for personal growth to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Areas of support include healthcare, housing, meal preparation, money management, mobility, shopping, education, advocacy, family support, use of leisure time and developing successful relationships. Services are customized to each individual and are provided to individuals that reside in their own or their family’s home. Abilities Discovered, Inc. provides one-on-one support and training. Services are delivered in their home or within their community.
Respite (R) This is a service intended to provide caregivers, family members, and individuals with disabilities, periods of relief from their usual circumstances. Respite may be provided in the individuals own home or in the home of an approved provider of respite. Respite can be delivered hourly, overnight, or in blocks of several days at a time. Respite is usually pre-arranged to accommodate family plans or to allow the individual to look forward to the scheduled respite.
